The Kingdom of Loathing is a Browser Based, comical, Role Playing Game featuring Turn-based combat.

The Kingdom of Loathing (or, in short, KoL) is a free to play, comical RPG (role playing game) is played from browser, and is adorned with a staggering array of "stunning hand drawn images". It is turn-based, which means you get a certain number of turns (Adventures) each day. Now, seriously speaking about the game graphics: take the graphics with a grain of salt, stick figures and poorly hand-drawn monsters is not quite what you expect. You can tell that this game doesn't take itself too seriously and do not put a lot of time nor effort into creating a more elaborate graphics, then again, that is really part of the game charm. The goofy, funy little monsters, and stick figure heroes. The main guy’s poorly drawn sword in one hand, and a martini in the other.

The Kingdom of Loathing gameplay is a typically RPG Combat, when you fight some opponents from the game, you lose an adventure. However, when you manage to kill it, you gain Meat (the local currency), experience for one of your three statistics, and possibly items. The higher your statistics get, the stronger, more magical, and more moxious (ability to hit, not get hit, etc.) you shall become. Also, more quests open up the stronger you get.
The Kingdom of Loathing is one of the most addictive, enjoyable and deep games out there, If you are looking for something refreshing and unusual this game is for you. Enjoy a world made up of stick figures using slightly bigger sticks to whack each other senseless. Sounds like fun doesn't it?
