Illyriad is a Browser Based, real time, HTML5 MMO strategy Game set in a fantasy world.

Too many of these games are limited to building a few towns and a handful of troop types - and then throwing them at other players. The largest army wins and... well... that's it, always felt there was something missing: Depth. Depth is the word that describes Illyriad. You can't be attacked for the first three days giving you time to get established. There is a wide variety of skills and quite a few types of race dependent units to research as well as magical spells. Cool and fun. Long lasting as things take quite a while to do especially when constructing powerful units or upper tier building upgrades.

There is a steep learning curve to understand how to play, but if you do the tutorial, you will be well prepared to begin building your kingdom. Research is very important in the game and is overwhelming when you see all of the different abilities, this makes up for a fairly overwhelming game, at least at first.

The Kingdom of Illyriad is an exciting world of opportunities and challenges where you build your empire from scratch in the manner of your own choosing.
